CISPA Information Session - "Depression in Adolescents"
Dr Benjamin Van Voorhees will be speaking to parents at the LLAC. Dr Van Voorhees is the Associate Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the University of Chicago, and specializes in the causes, prevention, symptoms and treatment of depression in adolescents. He is the originator of the pioneering “Project CATCH-IT”, a primary care, web-based depression prevention programme for adolescents and young adults. In the last decade Dr. Van Voorhees has had numerous articles featured in professional publications, and is highly experienced in the lecture circuit of professional institutions in America.
