Fall Fashion Affair - A fundraiser for Graduation 2010

 

 

The first CDNIS Fall Fashion Affair will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Leo Lee Arts Centre.  The event was initiated by a generous offer from a former CDNIS student and her family to donate 26 pieces of exquisite and one-of-a-kind garments to the school for auction.  All proceeds go towards Graduation 2010.

Angela Choi, currently sixteen years old, joined CDNIS as a Grade One student and left after finishing Grade Eight. Young and talented, Angela has studied art and design independently and at her current school (Dana Hall School). Last year, Angela gave a fashion show at the Dana Hall School for her Spring Collection – Flowers. For the coming CDNIS Fall Fashion Affair – A Night To Remember - all fashions have been designed by Angela and have been made exclusively for the event.  Speaking fondly of CDNIS, Angela reports, "I am giving the fashion show as a fundraiser in order to thank CDNIS for all it has offered me during my time here.  The School truly supports students‘ individuality and helps us fulfill our dreams."

You are cordially invited to attend and support the fundraising efforts for CDNIS. Doors will be open at 6:30 pm for a champagne and dessert reception with the fashion show and auction beginning at 7:00 pm that evening.
