Deborah Ellis presents...
On February 1st and 2nd, renowned Canadian author Deborah Ellis will share her experiences with the staff and students of CDNIS. Research for her books has taken Deborah to war-torn and disease-ravaged parts of the world, where she has interviewed the most vulnerable of those affected by these conditions. The courage and humanity of her characters are a beacon of hope and an inspiration to children around the world. Deborah has won many literary awards, and has been published in more than fifteen languages. Her works embody the spirit of internationalism and promote the IB philosophy.
